Hi, I’m Shelley (one time wedding speech failure, now a lot better). You don’t get a close up cos I look too fat in the photo! My first Maid Of Honor Speech, back in my twentys was hopeless because I thought I was funny. It turned out I wasn’t (the drink did not help either). I thought I had blown my one chance until  my friend Debbie was gracious (desperate?, stupid?) enough to ask me to be her maid of honor. This time I was determined to get things right and from what people have said, I did (phew). With things like Facebook and online dating, it looks like it might not be my last as there seems to be a lot of girls ready to have a second go at tying the knot. At least they ask me for advice nowadays, so I must be doing something right
